About The Red Pansy

How The Red Pansy began...

Hi, I'm Kelli, the artist and creator of The Red Pansy. What began as a passion for knitting, a fascination with dying yarn and an exploration of how I could apply the ideas in my head to natural fibers in my own projects has grown into a business that has connected me with more people and taught me more than I could have dreamed.  I met and married my life partner, MyungJin who is now a part of this wonderful team and adventure.  I've made some incredible friends and connections I cherish.  This is a place where I can share my art and creativity with the world and connect with communities, both local and virtual.

The Red Pansy is still a small, in-home studio.  Everything from the preparation and dying of the yarn to the marketing, labeling, packaging, and shipping was done with individualized care by hand.  I am humbled by every person who chooses my yarn...my art... to create their own projects, it is an incredible collaboration of creativity that brings me so much joy.
There is so much more to come and so much room for growth and learning.  Thank you for being here and for supporting this journey!

What we Offer...

This is a safe and inclusive space free from any hate speech, racism, discrimination or prejudice.
The Red Pansy yarn is dyed by hand in small batches using professional grade dyes and ethically sourced yarn bases. We ship using materials that are as eco-friendly and sustainable as possible and we are mindful of maintaining sustainable practices in all areas of our business.
This is a cat-friendly studio.  The yarn is kept and stored in a space that is cat-free, but our two girls, Sam and Alice are around for the packaging and quality control. The whole family is a part of what makes The Red Pansy what it is today and we all thank you for your support!
