“But Catherine did not know her own advantages — did not know that a good-looking girl, with an affectionate heart and a very ignorant mind, cannot fail of attracting a clever young man, unless circumstances are particularly untoward.”
(Jane Austen - Northanger Abbey , Chapter 14)
Her innocence and child-like ignorance of the true world around her lead Catherine Morland through the plot of Northanger Abbey in a haze of imaginations and fancies. She is a kind-hearted country girl who's honesty and pure intentions see her through the troubles her social naïveté bring her. Catherine's sweet temperament and happy disposition call forth the bright greens and golds of summer you'll find in my colorway interpretation of her.

Each skein is hand-dyed with care in my smoke-free, cat-friendly home. High quality acid dyes are properly set before washing and rinsing twice to assure the color adheres correctly, however some bright or extreme colors may bleed slightly in the first wash.To avoid this I recommend using room-temperature water and hand-wash the first time.Due to the artistic process involved; each skein is a unique work of art and allow for small variations.
